Fronting the street, is a typical Chicago residential home. Tucked behind, and fed though a network of alleys, is a 100 year-old warehouse. The property was purchased with the vision to convert the warehouse into a the primary residence. The structure remains unassuming from the exterior, clad in mismatched brick and rhythmic windows. Once through the courtyard and atrium, the unexpected interior reveals itself, carefully balancing its industrial roots with traditional sensibility and Nordic modernism, with just enough vintage furniture and decor to create a connective unity.
